The NHS (National Health Service) is the public healthcare system in the UK. In England, everyday healthcare often does not start at a hospital. Depending on the situation, you may start with a GP, pharmacy, NHS 111, an Urgent Treatment Centre or A&E.

Health Road England is not an official NHS website. It is a bilingual navigation guide to help you understand where to start.

1輕微病症或用藥問題，可以先查藥房或家庭醫生（GP）。Minor illness or medicine questions may start with pharmacy or GP.
2不肯定是否需要即時處理，可以用 NHS 111。If you are unsure how urgent it is, use NHS 111.
3嚴重受傷、生命危險或非常危急，請用 999 或急症室（A&E）。For serious injury, life-threatening or very urgent situations, use 999 or A&E.
